About The Group
The Urlingford Source Writers Group is an informal co-operative which meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month; starting on the 2nd Tuesday in January 2016. Meetings will take place in the Urlingford Library from 6.15-7.50 pm. Membership covers a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and interests, and is open to anyone who wishes to join.
What we do
We write in a variety of styles and genres, for ourselves, or for something to do on long winter nights or lazy summer days. Contributions range from short stories, poetry, articles, reviews and other written forms.
Our aim is to encourage and help one another while working in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with everyone contributing to homework exercises or individual projects which are discussed and shared, resulting in good positive feedback. Group members are also invited to host meetings, which helps to ensure a different style each meeting.
If you are that budding writer, why not come along to one of our meetings. You will be made more than welcome. For further information go to the contact us section.
